Brainlife promotes engagement and education in reproducible neuroscience. We do this by providing an online platform where users can publish code (Apps), Data, and make it "alive" by integragrate various HPC and cloud computing resources to run those Apps. Brainlife also provide mechanisms to publish all research assets associated with a scientific project (data and analyses) embedded in a cloud computing environment and referenced by a single digital-object-identifier (DOI). In response to emerging pathogens, LabKey launched the Open Research Portal in 2016 to help facilitate collaborative research. It was initially created as a platform for investigators to make Zika research data, commentary and results publicly available in real-time. It now includes other viruses like SARS-CoV-2 where there is a compelling need for real-time data sharing. Projects are freely available to researchers.
