Description
The Psychosocial Registry for Bariatric Surgery (PRAC) is designed to longitudinally assess psychosocial factors that influence the outcome of bariatric surgery. Identifying these factors helps to determine the need for additional interventions in order to optimize treatment outcomes. Assessments take place before surgery (T0), six months after surgery (T1), one year after surgery (T2), and annually thereafter up to eight years after surgery (T3-T9).
