The UniSC Research Bank is the institutional research repository for the University of the Sunshine Coast. It provides an open access showcase of the University's scholarly research output ensuring that research is made available to the local, national and international communities. UniSC Research Bank is harvested by search engines, and is also indexed by the National Library of Australia's TROVE. The FigShare service for University of Auckland, New Zealand was launched in January 2015 and allows researchers to store, share and publish research data. It helps the research data to be accessible by storing Metadata alongside datasets. Additionally, every uploaded item recieves a Digital Object identifier (DOI), which allows the data to be cited. If there are any ethical or copyright concerns about publishing a certain dataset, it is possible to publish the metadata associated with the dataset to help discoverability while sharing the data itself via a private channel through manual approval.

It provides open access to publications and other research outputs resulting from the projects implemented by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
