The Pfam database is a large collection of protein families, each represented by multiple sequence alignments and hidden Markov models (HMMs). !!! Powering down the Pfam website On October 5th, redirecting the traffic from Pfam (pfam.xfam.org) to InterPro (www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro) will start. The Pfam website will be available at legacy.pfam.xfam.org until January 2023, when it will be decommissioned.
