Chempound

a Web2.0-inspired repository for physical science data

Chempound is a new generation repository architecture based on RDF, semantic dictionaries and linked data. It has been developed to hold any type of chemical object expressible in CML and is exemplified by crystallographic experiments and computational chemistry calculations. In both examples, the repository can hold >50k entries which can be searched by SPARQL endpoints and pre-indexing of key fields. The Chempound architecture is general and adaptable to other fields of data-rich science. The Chempound software is hosted at http://bitbucket.org/chempound and is available under the Apache License, Version 2.0

The Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM) - International Inventory of Musical Sources - is an international, non-profit organization that aims to comprehensively document extant musical sources worldwide. These primary sources are music manuscripts or printed music editions, writings on music theory, and libretti. They are preserved in libraries, archives, churches, schools and private collections. RISM was founded in Paris in 1952 and is the largest and only international organization that documents written musical sources. RISM records what exists and where it can be found. As a result, by virtue of being cataloged in a comprehensive inventory, music traditions are protected while also being made available to musicologists and musicians alike. Such work is thus not an end in itself, but leads directly to practical applications.

ISIDORE is a international search engine and a discovery platform for open science allowing the access to digital materials from social sciences and humanities (SSH). Open to all and especially to teachers, researchers, PhD students, and students, it relies on the principles of Web of data and provides access to data in free access (open access). By its vocation, ISIDORE will foster access to open access data produced by research and higher education institutions, laboratories and research teams: digital publication, documentary databases, digitized collections of research libraries, research notebooks and scientific event announcements.
