The Space Physics Interactive Data Resource from NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center allows solar terrestrial physics customers to intelligently access and manage historical space physics data for integration with environment models and space weather forecasts.
SPIDR (Space Physics Interactive Data Resource) was a standard data source for solar-terrestrial physics, functioning within the framework of the ICSU World Data Centers.
It had a distributed database and application server network, built to select, visualize and model historical space weather data distributed across the Internet. SPIDR worked as a fully-functional web-application (portal) and as a grid of web-services, providing functions for other applications to access its data holdings. It was decommissioned on the ngdc.noaa.gov domain in May, 2016. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions . - Database hosted on sourceforge
